they are messed up. There is basically no regulation over them and they get to make up the rules as they go. They hold a monopoly on people's credit history and can end up costing people tons if there is something wrong on their, even when it's not true. I wish I knew how to better handle them but short of hiring legal counsel to get things cleared, which would cost more and who knows how it would turn out, I don't have a clue.

Well, I think the best way to handle them is how Edward Norton did at the end of Fight Club.
