Sure, I know this belongs in the Central Texas forum; I tried there but in nearly two weeks have received zero replies. (The forum down here is nearly nonexistent, compared to North Texas anyway -- of course, that might not be the reason for the lack of response, I suppose.) Anyway, I know a lot of you have Austin connections, and I hope someone can point me in the right direction. Hence:

There's a possibility -- some would say a likelihood -- that my S needs substantial work (a rear end). It's not under warranty (80K miles), and it seems unlikely that my best option is a local dealership. I know that I'm looking at a sizable bill regardless, but I'd like to make it as reasonable as possible; however, it may be even more important to find someone who really knows what he's doing, as I know these repairs get tricky.

Recommendations?


P.S. If anyone knows of someone parting out an S, with a rear end available...
