That's an S2000 type S. Which is not as performance oriented as the CR. The type S uses stiffer springs (but softer than CR) and it share's the CR's Aero package. The Type S retains the Power top, so it does not have the rear brace. It also rolls on the RE050's instead of the stickier CR's RE070's. This time, the US gets the quicker car.

It was easy to see the Type S was more stable and carried more corner speed. The combination of the aero parts and suspension tweaks definitely helped some.
