I agree fully with your strategy. It will serve you well.

During my single days, I dated a girl who proudly acclaimed that "she would never date a guy who drove a truck". She turned out to be the biggest gold-digger I have ever met. I even overheard her with her friends: One girl stated that her boyfriend was a jerk and unattractive, but he was rich, so it was OK"

After leaving her in the materialistic, me-first 80's , I tested a theory by renting a BMW coupe and wearing a suit to clubs. I was golden in Dallas . It probably still works.

After being jaded, I started picking up girls in an old truck and found many quality ladies. They got to ride in the Saab 900 Turbo later (and now Nancy can ride in the S2K).

Actually, CC and I are talking about the same Black '04 with the new OEM spoiler. I've seen her twice on the Tollroad out North in Plano.

 

Well, it's as I suspected - I'm invisible! Are there any of the guys that are regularly driving the same streets as I do (here in far Middle-East Metromess) that use this site? I know I've seen several sitings in my area of the following: a Suzuka (lots of extra plastic), a Rio (? Spa), at least 1 Berlina (once with a female driver - wouldn't look over at me), and a New Formula Red, but never see anyone from this area on.

And, if the mystery woman in the black '04 with OEM wing does ever find this site... don't take any of the comments as negative...the owners here (myself included) are quite passionate about the S2000 and we tend to get excited about seeing a fellow owner out and about...especially someone we don't know! We'll keep waving and honking though.

The Club has a great group of people who share a common addiction...hope you feel the same and come check out one of our GTGs or events.

 

I don't know what all the fuss is about - I've found that NTS2KOC autocrosses to be a great way to meet a wonderful woman...

Yep, you must be invisable, especially at night in that Berlina. But if the Spa you saw had a completely bald white boy behind the wheel that must have been me. I'm next door in Rowlett and run all over the metro NE.

I know the Suzuka you're talking about. Velside body kit all around. Pretty tricked out.

There's also another Suzuka in Rowlett along with a New Formula, both of which I've seen a few times. And there's a FEMALE driving a Spa in my neighborhood all the time but the only times I've seen her I've been in my Dodge Ram 4x4 so I didn't honk or wave so as not to look like some yahoo trying to score with chicks in sports cars.

On a side note related to NTS2K - I'm guilty of posting very little on here in the past year and not taking the time to attend one single event or getting to know anyone. Although I'd really like to put faces to the names and see if this group is half as great as they seem.

I haven't actually gotten a good look at the drivers of most the other vehicles. Are you in Waterview? Yesterday I saw a Spa off of I-30 at (I think) On the Border and another Spa on the other side at Carrabba's (or was it SaltGrass?) at the same time! Well, I'll keep an eye open for you from now on and will wave, honk, something - to get your attention.
