Sanger
Cyntex - welcome and I look forward to meeting you. The North Texas S2000 Owners Club has been in place since 2001 (I think) and is very active. The Club puts on it's own autocross series, has lunch and dinner get-togethers monthly, group drives and other events. In May of 2005 then Club President Clovis and I hosted the largest gathering of S2000s ever in Texas at the Texas Roundup (85 cars).
Just check out the Club Calendar. There is also a standing get-together the first Tuesday of each month at the Fox & Hound in Richardson.
And to answer that "middle-aged" question, I'm one of the old farts at 42. Age has never really seemed to be much of an issue in the past but comments like those of viets2k may be why I don't frequent here as much as I used to.
Anyway - welcome to Texas Cyntex and we hope you come join us at your first opportunity!
Oh yeah - I think he already knows that Murietta is probaly more like Texas than So Cal - I've been to Fresno.

Thanks for the warm welcome guys. It was definately a hard decision to move seeing that I'm leaving my gf behind due to her schooling, but I look forward to meeting each and every one of you.
See you all soon.

Sanger? WooooWeeeee, you are way out there from Dallas....i say a good 45 minutes drive. They do have a drag-strip there...i believed it's a 1/8 mile but could be a 1/4 mile and you can see it from I35-N. Well, atleast you are closer to the Winstar casino then we are,

It's an 1/8 mile dragstrip behind a junkyard off I35. I used to go there just about every weekend in high school and run my turbo civic and SE-R. Best time in the civic was 8.52 @ 85 mph, bolton sentra was 9.0 @ 75 mph.
btw...that's pretty good times for the civic.
Damn I'm tired!! 3 days of driving and I just finally got everything put away and set up. I still need to go buy a few things for the house but overall I feel better. Time to learn my way around - see you guys on the streets
