SLK 350 Vs. S2000
I wanted to buy a german car prior to purchasing the S2K and everyone I knew that owned a german car minus two told me they’d never own another german car again.
Blackbear, if you treat the car right, it should last you for a long time. I’d consider buying a $500 beater though.
Mozo – the SLK and S2K are virtually a tie – AP1 or AP2 – don’t matter…

yeah, the income logic is way off. But I get the idea, the more you're making the more you consider disposable. But at 1 Million you're at 40% income for a car. At 2 Million you're spending 50%+. At 100K you're only at 30%. BTW, if you're spending 30% of your income on your car - you are not spending wisely. A car should not exceed 25% of your take home.

I cant tell you how many SLK's ive driven, the only 2 that impressed me were the SL63 and the SL55, both of which are AMG. They arent too bad but your buying an under powered, over priced german POS. I would rather drive a 1 or 3 series BMW. But trying to compare an SLK350 to an S2000 regardless of year, is like trying to compare a refined attractive virgin chick (SLK), to an energetic, drop dead gorgeous girl, with beautiful curves. Who likes to go balls to the wall until the end.
(S2000)... Need I say more?
