Spring Installation
I would think a shop with a lift would be able to do them in well under two hours, so that's a pretty hefty labor rate. I installed GC perches/Eibach springs myself going slowly with no lift or air tools in about three.
Good instructions on the board for doing it yourself, if you where thinking about it.

for a shop rate, and a shop doing the work, $200 isn't bad for springs IMO. most shops want to charge at least 3 hours worth of work. 2 hours is possible, but that's pushing it I think. most spring replacement rates range from $200-$350 on this car from what I've seen.
you can also try it yourself - some instructions are in the library section - courtsey of clovis.

I won't have time for a little while, but I wouldn't mind helping out (or doing the install) to get pics for a writeup for the web site. David's writeup is excellent but could use some pictures. If you are the least bit mechanically inclined his writeup or the factory manual should be enough for you to do it on your own. I have spring compressors if you need to borrow them or wanted help doing it.
