Default Stereo system question....

I have no clue when it comes to stereo stuff.....I just want some small pumps, thats all, not trying to shake houses....

So what i have is stock head unit, Kappas mid and high with crossover as of right now in the car and it sounds really good (crisp and clear).......what i want to do is put one of the ZEnclosed box off of ebay ($70), JL 10" W1 (already have)....sooooo, the question is how big of an amp do i need just for the sub? And does anyone here know how to install a system PROPERLY? What amp install kit is good? and last but not least, how does YOUR S sound??

on the back of the sub should be the peak and rms wattage ratings... ideally you want an amp that at least meets the power handling capability of the subwoofer.

i like the way my S sounds, but i've redone the audio system twice and probably spent over $4k? getting used stuff

what's the model number of the JL sub? i see a couple of them....also, you'd get more input in the electronics section, they are very cool

do you still have the softtop? if not, your plastic soft top tray will rattle

I'd be happy to help you install if you want but I'm over in north fort worth. If you know anything about electrical stuff its really easy. Routing the cable from the battery to the trunk is the worst part, but its not even that bad.
