If i add an 8" sub and amplifier for it to my system, i'm assume i'll have to adjust the crossover on my amp for my components to filter out more of the low frequencies, will this allow me to turn th egain up higher on the components? the only thing they were having trouble with currently when the gain was higher was some distortion on the low frequencies (perfect 6.1's, so i'm assuming that's to be expected.) Basically, what i'm trying to ask is will adding an amp/sub allow me to make my components louder as well?
