Default Thinking about selling my 03 blue

Well, it's been a fun year and a half with my s2000 but I think it is about time we part. I am thinking about going back to college and getting a degree while i have a good job and can afford it. Unfortunatly, that means that the 500 dollar car payments have to go. I was hoping you guys might have some advice as to what you think I could sell my car for private party. Please take into mind I have a 10 year 100,000 mile warranty through John Eagle Honda. The car is a blue '03 with 29000 miles on it. Thanks,
-Peter

I'll surely miss looking for you on the ride home from 635 to Denton! No clue what your (I guess I could say our!) car's worth on the market.
Best of luck to you in school, do what you gotta do!!

For $500/mo with those miles I would unfortunately say you are probably upside-down on it. It might be better for you to keep it if at all financially possible. I've got fewer miles on my '01.

Edmunds.com shows a "True Market Value" of $24,287 for a private party sale in "Outstanding" condition and 29000 miles. However, S2000s seem to be pretty hard to sell. There are a ton of them sitting in used car lots around North Dallas (Plano, Richardson, etc.).

Thanks for the advice guys! I am hoping that the warranty will get me a couple of extra dollars. Have a good one!
