Yes it will be fine, and you and your dear lady wife (by then) would be prestigiously welcommed

Meantime, I am still on a car search. I did pop in to Honda yesterday and they said 20 weeks for ANY new S2000. Yeah, right. Not that I'm 100% sure that a new S is what I want, mind... I am thinking of all sorts of stuff...
Why would you want to buy a new S when there are so many good second hand ones at *very* good prices available at this time of year

Steven, warranty mate. I need as much as I can get. Also, I am a stickler for new cars recently. Saying that, I may end up with a "classic".

Chris, bring the 'Vette. I'd love to see it. There was one here recently - a red C6 - very nice it was too. Hope you can make it. I will copy the attendee list to the first post when I get a sec.

You should be OK if your 'vette is smaller than this

Yeah. Cool.

Can we arrange one of them for me to follow?

I have now made the booking with the Shorehouse and they will be taking a deposit for the 7 apartments and the cotage in a few weeks time.

There will still be some space available if anyone else wants to come along and doesn't mind sharing an apartment for the 3 days (I am still waiting to hear from 1 person).

I will PM everyone shortly as I will need to forward on everyones details and preferences to the Shorehouse.

(I suppose I had better ask my boss if I can get a couple of days off work :rolleyes)

Steven, I don't know if you were told but the owners of Shorehouse are away in Lanzarote for a month - just in case you were wondering why you may not be getting immediate responses. Tom (the owner) has emailed me and is looking forward to seeing everyone again.

Due to the fact that the Catacol now seems to be "less preferred", we will change the base of operations to Brodick, where we live now. There will be the usual car wash available at our new house. That should pi** off the neighbours nicely!

I know that Gary and Alan will likely find this arrangement less preferable, but we are never going to satisfy everyone. I hope this is okay with y'all. It just means that barbecues and so on can likely now be held at Shorehouse, within spitting distance of several pubs, the supermarket, etc....

They have re-directed their phone and I did speak to them today.
