Apologies if this is considered cross-posting but are any other Brits suffering the rust shown at https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=268350?

I have added my name to list and am waiting to hear via my dealer what Honda UK has to say about it. Dealer hadn't seen it before.

BTW had the gearbox oil changed at 14.5K - what a difference! Can't believe they say to leave it in for 81K (that can't be right?) or 27k if severe conditions. The box is much easier to stir whilst cold.

They've probably put the wrong oil in

Will check my lid tomorrow.

I have a bit of rust on mine, it does not look to bad and as the cars still under warranty I will get it sorted at the next service.

I would be really surprised if it was not sorted under your warranty.

I looked at mine and there is some discolouration - at 7k miles now so will keep an eye on it til it goes in for the 9k service and see what the dealer says.

What is the solution? New boot (poss dodgy paint match) or fix the rust (possible recurrence)?
