MY 04 Moonrock
I previously posted re: slight greying after 2 weeks.
I have now had a chance to take the roof fullydown, and have found the PVC to be thicker than my previous 02. Is it possible they changed the PVC thickness from 02's
Also when lowering roof in order to flatten to glass i have to push down by hand to fully flatten ?
Is this normal or is this purely the new roof and cold weather.
Have any 04 people had similar problems when lowering roof.
Roof securing clips are much stiffer and require quite a bit of effort to fully secure.
Anybody else noticed these problems ?

I don't know whether the 04 roof is any different to the 02 (my HT is still on and I haven't looked at the 04 soft top yet) but I know that the 02 soft top was always prone to not fully lowering in cold weather.
That was usually rectified by raising it and lowering it a number of times to loosen up the material and/or running the heater to warm it up for a few minutes before trying to lower it.
