So did the roof rip, the arches corrode, the valve stem seals go and the bottom end throw a rod the moment you went over?

Well played and nicely captured on film. Handy to have someone in the car to take the pic while you were driving

By my calculations I should be clocking the 100k mark on the way through France in a few weeks. 56k ish miles when I bought it 18 months or so ago.

Are valve stem seals common on these?

I think mine are going - slight smoke after long idling especially when full.

Na I was just being sarcastic. Honda engines are normally bulletproof.

Keep oil topped up, with correct grade and enjoy.

Mine sailed through 100K without a blip the other week.

But then the engine had been replaced at 95K.

Mine hit 100k on a meet last year...





And yes I can confirm that your car will disintegrate very quickly now. I had to replace a brake pipe for £50 this year to get it through it's MOT
