I have the chance to buy a second hand hard top for my 99S2k, can anybody tell me if any hard top will fit any year S2k?

It will but you'll most likely need a fixing kit which I'm told can cost about

like shipley said, hard top will be fine but you will need a fitting kit and new strikers (not the football type), am not sure how much they are but your looking at a fair cost on top of the hard top itself

This is a pig of a job to do. You need a full fixing kit if the car was not originally to GT spec AFAIK. Look in the workshop manual (there is one on this forum somewhere.) I'd say for an amateur it's a good days work plus you need to modify the metalwork of the car.

took me an hour on a MY05 including the metalwork but as aldfort says its a bigger job on earlier cars because of the additional wiring required for the rear window heater.
