Im having my 54k service done tomorrow at Howards Honda in Weston Super Mare..Its a biggie and i've been quoted

 

I could be wrong but I thought the concensus of a lenghty recent thread about whether plugs should be changed at 54K or 72K was that 54K was the correct time to do it.

Point your dealer in the direction of Service Bulletin HUK 671 dated 28.10.05 which, according to that thread, "explains the confusion Honda caused and introduced the latest service tick sheet".

 

Take your own plugs in if you can and use Shell oil, I wouldn't trust a dealer with important, easily replicated items like these.
