8 Years & Counting !
Hi all,
Just thought I'd share this....
My S has just passed 8 years of life, having sailed through all of her 6 MOTs with flying colours
Mileage is approaching 34K, and so far, touch wood, no serious problems except wear & tear items, and a couple of minor warranty items.
Still on original roof / seats & still all original bodywork / paint.
Only had 4 brown trouser moments:
1 - in the wet very soon after I got the car (me being silly)
2) - on a damp roundabout (S02 tyres were cold)
3) - On a S2000 meet where I spun as I was trying to keep up with Ade (lift-off oversteer on bend) - it is now known as Bharat's Bend
4) - on a damp roundabout (very heavy right foot, but I should have known better)
I have had so much fun, and I don't regret the approx

Looking forward to many many more years with my baby.

No joking apart: glad you've been so pleased with the S
Christ I wish I'd have stuck with one car for that long - would have saved myself about a bl**dy fortune chopping and changing! Bu then again, it IS only money and I HAVE enjoyed all the different motors so can't grumble really

with Bharat, this forum is a big part of the ownership experience.
And that kind of reliability isn't saved for the low milers. Mine's a Feb 2000 car - 88k miles, no issues at all yet (I've said it now!).
I've owned for 4 years and I still can't find anything to replace it with!

Good point: I should have endorsed that also in my last post.
I've only been here a few weeks and this is EASILY the most comfortable not-up-itself helpful good-humoured forum I've been on - and I've hung around (to a lesser or greater extent) on quite a few (BMW, Audi, Benz etc.). Many thanks to all of those involved at the admin/mod end of things here

Congrats Bharat, it's a great car and I have loved my 4.5 years and 60k+ with my 2 S2000's
I agree, the forum really helps the ownership experience, as does the exclusivity of the car.
It all really helped with my decision to buy another 18 months ago.
5 months until I get another car and I am beginning to book testdrives... I wonder if anyone can tear me away???
That's another thread
