Nice write up steve. Glad you got sorted quickly after the disappointing GB! I will be under the car next week fitting mine when they arrive.

Can you post a link for the spacers and control arms please?. I don't know where to get them from.

It's nice to have a read of someone else's experiences. I hope that all my bolts arent seized! I have a feeling they will be though

Just a quick question - What do the spacers do? Understand the rest, just not the spacers? Does it just 'pull' the rack away from the wheels, maintaining the length when the wheels are further up in the arches? (Ie front equivalent to the drive shaft spacers).

Ta, just curious.

Removing the rear coilovers:
No mention of how difficult it is to get into the bolts on the top of the mounts on the passenger side.

I have found the best way to get into these is to undo the petrol filler pipe to allow it to moved to the side to gain access to the bolts.

Pretty much, but it's the angle of the toe arms that's important. By lowering you've increased the angle, and that means more change in toe for the same suspension movement, i.e. more bump steer.

The spacers raise the rack so the angle is roughly the same as it was before lowering. The rear toe arms acheive the same thing by offsetting the lower mounting point on the hub.

Steven, very good point. I will add that in.

DONE, and thanks.

I did do exactly what you suggested for access.
In fact I think I read that from you and remembered it out of a previous post of yours

Have also just added ride height measurements to the OP after 'roughing out' camber and toe settings and driving the car to settle it all.

Eh?

The nuts are REALLY easy to get to for the top rear near side shock.

Simply put a bit of grease on your 3/8" 4" long extension bar, and it will easily slide past the rubber protecting the fuel filler pipe.

Really had no issues when removing it at all
