The clips aren't just specific to Honda but the S2000, hence the price. you can get away with 2 missing just "redistribute" the others.

Or take one to a local metal fabricator, and have some made up from spring steel(I feel a group buy coming on).
Champion only has 2 remaining, not 2 missing.
Epic misread!

Mind you the OP has only lost two.

Defiantly worth trying a local fabricator.

2's fine. Just pop them so they're opposing. Or just leave the lid off.

You're not trying to make a seal to prevent dirty air getting in, remember, just to keep the lid on and make the inlet temp a smidge lower.

Or just get the whole bloody thing off and buy a snorkelly intakey thingy. I have the K&N one on mine and it sounds lovely - like the better aspects of the lid off trick, without the harshness.

Sure cable ties can be your friend here if you dont want to fork out £8 per clip.
Or perfect excuse to buy CAI.

Or move the clips to the front and get a strut brace to prevent the back from lifting off and pivoting forward.

Yea have been toying with the CAI tbh, but can't justify the cost at the mo.

Cheers for the idea's - seems a shame that they are not a generic item tbh. I only run with the lid on after the battery has been removed (to allow ECU to relearn correctly) or if it's very hot. Will have a tinker
