Hi all i just need abit of adive please, i'm thinking of replacing the standard air filter on MY09 with a Gen2 K&N air filter kit, but will that mess the setting up with my engine ie. performance, power delivery etc... Thanks in Advance.

 

Drive around with the airbox lid off, similar/same effect really see how you get on and what it feels like, it's a cone as standard and can always revert back to it.

I opted for an AEM V2 instead, and there is a fair old difference over the above! particularly when bimbling around in traffic.

ive tried taking the air filter lid off,its sounds awsome but no gain and in the higher rpm's in 5th didnt seem to pull as hard when the airbox lid is on..???

ive got a hks filter on the way and ill mod my spare air box when it turns up with some induction pipe ive ordered off ebay,need to find some heat sheilding for the induction pipe and some for the airbox aswell...
