From the sound of it, it's the same ol' same ol' problems as it was when we tried to sort out Tango Man's, a year/ 18 months ago?

I'd suggest giving up with it!

Fook me that's been an effort this afternoon. There is a gap of a maybe 3mm to the right of the point where the CAI goes into the airbox where the airbox lid catch is.

As soon as my hands warm up I'll post some pics as the bonnet is also sitting about 7 mm proud compared to the right hand side (as you look directly at the car rather than from the driver's seat). My camera isn't the best at macro functions and I was so damn cold my hands kept shaking as I took the pics.

OK I'm a bad worman, anyone got any better tools

Have to comment, the snorkel is just a little too big, it doesn't fit the space well and I certainly wouldn't be putting one on my S. I know Jo will be PM'ing Muz about this and it will be interesting to see his feedback.

Yes thanks Nick - Intake is off the car again after 4 hours work

Will contact Muz for his input before posting pics and results up here, to be fair to Muz.

Any tips?
Small u shaped one with a bolt through it? That goes at the bottom to fasten it to one of the bumber horizontal spars.

Pleasure!

Like you say, that's what it's for.

I know how frustrating these things can be. At least we overcame TM's disappointment with an improptu Herts BBQ last time!
