i have the above system on my S, and every so often it's been chirping as if the external sensor is being triggered (it chirps to let you know the car is alarmed).
since it's been doing it for the last 2 days, i get home, disabled the internal microwave sensor to see what happens, and it still happens.
gently hitting the roof doesnt seem to trigger the chirp either, so it doesnt appear to be down to a breeze.

so, this seems to be down to a physical/system issue.

also, when i say every so often, it would be fine for a few months, then start chirping for no obvious reason

the full 'break in' alarm never triggers though.

i'm going to remove physical connections that i can and give them a clean (bonnet & doors i think are the only ones you can get to). Instead of going in blind in the hope i find something, does anyone have any experience with the cobra systems that might be causing my problem, or something specific i need to check?
