Default Alarm problems

I was out in the town on sat night and got home at 1ish totally wasted so not sure if ive got this right, anyway, weather was very bad, lots of rain and wind.
my car alarm woke me up (dont know what time it was), i fumbled round for the keys and turned it off (unlocked it, then locked it again).
got woke up again about 10 minutes later, so i got up and unlocked it, in my drunk state i thought i would leave it unlocked so the alarm wouldnt keep going off,
but it went off a further 2 times, and i'm pretty sure it was unlocked and dissarmed as it were.
any explanations?

also, ive noticed that when i lock the car the indicators blink, when i unlock the car they come on for a couple second then go off.
is this different to everyone elses?.

cheers
Jamie

If you unlock it but don't open the door it locks and arms again in about 30 seconds.

3 flashed for lock, 1 for unlock I think. so sounds right.

Mind you this is for my MY06

or you could just press the lock putton twice what disables the internal sensors and would have stopped the alarm going off

Press once to lock the car and set the alarm, wait for the blinking to stop, then press once again and it should blink a few more times (which indicates it's disabled the internal sensors)

I don't suppose any one knows where I can find the manual for the later model alarms(3 button type) as the above link is only for the 2 button variety and the commands do not translate.

The command I'm interested in is the 'last 5 sensor trip details' as my alarm keeps going off in the middle of the night for no obvious reason.

Thanks in advance
