Default Alignment revisited

Well after my raving about the alignment on my 03 the other week it turned into disaster the car initially felt alot less crashy but a good drive proved that the alignment was to cock. It was my fault though, I took an alignment sheet in that had the prefferred settings at the bottom but for some reason no rear preferred settings so the garage put the revised front settings on and set the rears to the spec at the top of the sheet. Im about to go and pick it up so will report back. Im just starting to get this alignment malarky and understand all the settings and what they mean and can now understand why the car is doing this and doing that and its quite interesting.
Had new front wheels on yesterday under warranty, the hard top rattling has got to go back in in the new year, Honda has said that there are alot but it can be fixed with adjustment but it does take a while.

Nice one Colin.

I am really really happy with my car since the alignment. In fact today was the first day since I got it that I've felt confident enough to really push the car well into vtec in first to third on a damp, rough single carriageway.

The alignment sheet isn't particularly well laid out so I circled the settings that I wanted in big red pen

Just got back to office, cant really tell at mo but its not steering with the rears, had a nasty mo tho when I came to a t junc i had been smelling diesel and when i arrived luckily at below 5mph all wheels locked, some arse in front had been spilling diesel, 6 miles on and back at the office I can still smell it on the tyres. Best drive a bit sheepish for a while.
I had a real mix of alignment, my00 on the rears revised on the front. Like I said before you just cant beleive what a difference slight adjustments make.
I can remember when I first had the revised alignment done on my00 it totally transformed the car.

Yep.

That and tyres were the main things that started the faq in the first place.

I've done quite a lot since I got the car and started having to search for jobs I wanted to do.

I was going to add the maintenance section of the handbook - weekly, monthly jobs Honda expect the owner to do.
