Alloy repair
Just as I've started the "honey we need a new set of alloys campaign" I was getting ready for the trackday this weekend and I noticed that one of my alloys has been badly kerbed.
Must have been fairly recent......
Now, not wanting to get into the "you've done it on purpose" debate I'd like to see if it can be repaired.
If not then I guess I'll just have to put some winter tires on these rims and get some OZ's in the spring.....
Suggestions? (Apart from get the new alloys now )
Andy

Andy,
Don't want to scare you but my boss kerbed his front alloy once (Ford Focus). A few weeks later he noticed a hairline crack in the alloy.
He got the alloy changed, it turned out the crack was a fatigue crack which was happily propagating through his alloy rim. If he had not changed it when he did, there could have been a very dangerous incident.
This is probably a rare occurence but its food for thought.

My son has a set of beautiful new alloys and he's had one scored by a piece of metal he ran over in the road. It also caused some minor bodywork damage which he's going to have done. The place who are going to do the bodywork told him that they would sort the alloy out at the same time ...no charge! These people are artists at repairing and airbrushing small areas. I'm sure it can be done if you find the right place but I'm not sure this is what you want to hear.
