Had mine done at the w/e and it fits fine see pic, had the amp put in the spare wheel, a very good job free plug to Wentworth Car audio. I would kick up a fuss theres no excuse for doing a crap job apart from laziness and incompetence of course

Can't see how it ain't flush and not slopping around
There are four screws holding the brackets to the car and the screws are only 5-6mm long!

It if is a long way out they may have got the brackets on the HU 180 degrees out!

Either way get it back and sorted!

Inconvenient to say the least - another wasted morning!

I fitted a 9847r, dash module and Ipod interface myself a few weeks ago.

What you have to do is tuck the dash module through the console to the right - there is a void to the right of the console and to the left of the steering column.

I managed to get the Ipod interface in there too.

Its a tight squeeze to get all the wires to 'get out of the way' of the head unit, but patience means a very flush fit (door closes no problem).

bass will only come with power!
As the old man keeps telling me $hit in $hit out!
Start with a good HU
On to decent components capable of an amp
Then an amp!

i took the car back to Hendon Car Stereo this morning and left it with them for 45 minutes and they eventually sorted it out and fitted the HU flushly.

At last.....but tbh wouldn't recomment going to them for any work.
