The Alpine head unit should fit correctly but it is a bit of a tight squeeze to get all of the wires, including the KCE interface, into the spoace behind the headunit.
You're not joking, just got mine today. How many wires??????

the manager did - how could he not - the HU may as well have been in the boot it was sticking out so much!!

the original installer was a prat and insisted thats the best he could do....only for a proper installer to sort it today.

they did me no favours considering i had to go back and get it sorted.

enjoy the blasting today.

I can't believe this took them 2 attempts and 45 minutes the second time.

It's obvious that the dash adpater needs to go under the steering column and there's a hole to poke it out through. Absolutely no problems fitting all the rest of the cables in.

The HU should be screwed in - remove bracket from the OEM stereo, so how could they get that wrong

It's just taken me 1.5 hours including 20 minutes arsing about with the adapter and asking questions in here. 20 minutes driving to my local auto electrician to get an aerial adapter, and at least 10 minutes removing the cable for my old cd changer.
