Default AP1 to AP2

Hi everyone. Ive just bought ap2 Rear lights for my 03 ap1. Being a newbie without any research l bought them thinking they will be direct bolt on fit. So today l tried to fit them and realized that they weren't direct bolt on..... no way near being a direct bolt on. SO done a bit of research and the found that the only way to fit them is to cut some bits of the car.

My question is does anyone know where l could have it cut? or Does anyone know a good bodyshop near london or in london? l live in london but l wouldnt mind driving few hours to a good garage and have it done professionaly??? thanks

Do a search there is quite a bit of metal hacking and a fair chance it will leak

BTW UK doesn't get the AP2 and the rear lights on the US AP2 have no fog light in them

Never worth it surely?

If you dont get a total seal against that flitch plate it WILL leak.
As road water hits the bottom corner behind the bumper.
And drain water from the boot curls under the top.
