Can anyone tell me why the audio controls on the right of the dashboard (Right,hand drive) are so crap? The only useful one is mute. What is that large round button for - it only changes mode, what a waste. Is it supposed to twist or anything?

 

Thats right it only changes the mode Pretty rubbish eh!

 

It's only so big to make the dash is symmetrical.

And what more do you want it to do? Make your tea? IMO The only useful functions not catered for on the dash are skip backwards, and change cd (on the changer). Anything else - bass, fader etc you would want to see the HU screen anyway

After over 4 weeks I used the CH button the other day to cycle through the tracks on a CD - great!

 

i use the ch button a lot to scroll through tracks.

the volume button is very useful too.

 

Its better than most other offerings including those from BMW in the 3 series and Saab in the 93. More than happy with it now the KCE865 works
