one of the electronic wizards must be able to figure out how to rig the relays to the passenger window from this diagram.

Will the motor be able to hold the load of an additional window? (this should be yes as when you power the roof down both windows go down simultaneously so in theory they should be able to go up simultaneously)

The only other thing we would have to do is source US drivers side auto buttons to use on our passenger side......

Come on guys, i cant remember my electronic lessons from school

Agreed.

Something I pondered about myself.

I've had a quick look at this, and it's not good

It would be a pig to use OEM LHD components, and would require some amount of botchery.

You'd need another control unit for starters, and possibly another motor which has the 'detect' circuit in it, which latches the motor to operate for a longer period. I cannot confirm this however as I cannot locate a diagram showing the passenger side motor. You may need a different door card if you were to use LHD components as well, in order to house the switch.

If the linked product does not allow you to crack the window open a bit, and only opens all the way, then Sin's idea would make most sense. A simple C (or equivalent) programmed circuit would allow you to open the window in small amounts by operating the switch momentarily. To open/close completely you'd hold the switch down for > 1 second.

I'm fairly sure it can be done, but I for one cannot commit enough time to come up with a solution
