Default Autoleads Dash Control Interface

Hey guys, after a bit of information on this product -

http://caraudiosecurity.com/shop/product/p...ts_id/6820.html

Does this do exactly the same as the Modifry DCI unit? The Modifry is $90 with shipping on top of that. At £29 the Autoleads seems pretty good value.

Anybody have any experience of this product?

Cheers, Nick.

Quite a few folk have one of these, but it doesn't do all the multi-button stuff a Modifry does (see the modifry site for details) but if you want to retain the original controls, it'll work fine.

A search for Autoleads should return some results I think.

Modifry > Audioleads

I've tried both.

That's both price and functionality - you do, in this case, get what you pay for

I fitted one this week along with my Alpine IDA-X001 HU, and its great, apart from the mute button doesn't do anything (possibly remedied by connecting the Alpine pink/black wire to the peach one from the car? Will try). Oh and the CH button functions the seek rather then skipping presets when in radio mode, not ideal. But for £25 I'm not complaining too much.

Mute button worked ok on the Sony HU I have. Never installed it as couldn't get the bracket screws into the HU so has been in the loft since

Is the alpine unit bluetooth? mine wont allow the mute to work unless the bluetooth is turned off as this overides the circuit. works well though

Another user with no problems. Using a cheap-ish Sony HU, with BT and ipod interface. Had it installed professionally and it works adequately - no problems with mute button. You pays your money.....
