De-cat and a friendly MOT tester. Most love seeing S2000's.

Default Berk FTW

This happened to me not long ago. They cut into my sports manifold and Mugen exhaust in order to extract the cat in one piece. Brighter thieves would have taken the exhaust given that they aren't cheap.

I went for a Berk HFC. Happy with it so far although I don't yet think that it's gone in for an MOT. Hoping that it passes without issues.

Thanks for the kind words & thoughts.

Car is being recovered on Monday, so I'll find out the extent of the damage once the car is on the ramp.

I'll keep you all updated.

Regards
Bharat

If you need an OEM cat then drop me a message - something I can help out with.
Thank you Robin.
I'll be in touch once I know what the damage is.

My own cat had a serious rattle that drove me crazy. Replaced with Berk HFC 2 years ago and sailed through 2 mot tests since.

Sorry to hear dude, its an all too common sight now on the forum.
Happened to me (october 2021) and was an expense I could have done without.

Have a read through a post I did at the time. Should give you some help and pointers.

I chopped the end off my OEM exhaust before I scrapped it. If anyone needs it to help repairs following a cat theft, drop me a PM and you can have it for the postage cost.

I've also got an aftermarket exhaust that's probably getting scrapped too so there's a second one, but I don't know the diameter of that. Can go and measure if anyone wants to know..

Hi
I just had my cat stolen, and the mechanic is struggling to find a solution due to where the cutters were applied. He said the main part that they need is from the manifold/downpipe. I was wondering if you had anything that might be of use?
