On topic slightly, I am about to sorn my S2 until next year, It will be in my garage, am i best off disconnecting the battery completely? I put a new battery in it in May and dont want to screw it up, Am i right in thinking that if i disconnect it it will be ok? will it retain the charge?

Have a search for advice on SORNing (search SORN) there are quite a few very useful threads on what to do when laying your car up.

Or; yes - if you fully charge it & leave it in a cool, dry place it will be fine.

Hi all, I have read your remarks with interest and am grateful for the many reprocesses, list are so very valuable and at their best helping others. My engineer phoned yesterday to say his factors have accepted reproducibility following the AA written repost and he has a new battery to fit Monday. Resolution all round and perhaps justifies my annul expense renew my AA membership; I ften given that thought with two very reliable cars but it would be sods law if I cancelled it, I would need a tow home some 200 miles or so.

I'm afraid the WINTER is on us.
Best wishes,
Mike
