Default Blowers

Hi guys,
Interested in blowing my S2000 (in a good way!) and struggling to find UK kits as apposed to ordering from states?

I'm open to Superchargers and Turbo's so what are my options?

Thanks

TTS are UK based, search for them on here or Google them.

Lots of choices state side such as SOS, Comptech, Vortex, etc.

Have a look on the US forced induction forum

TTS/Rotrex superchargers are in the UK, quite a popular choice over here.

Turbo wise, TDI North offer a turbo upgrade. Reidy Racing have also recently finished their turbo S2000 so might be worth e-mailing/PMing them to see if they could offer you something similar.

When I got my turbo kit from kings performance it was straight forward,no hassle at all.
I would suggest having a ride in both sc/tc s2000's,as I went s/c first time round and got bored after 6months(not saying superchargers are crap, just not for me)the power delivery is a bit more civilised compared to a turbo s2000

I've been in both and there are pro's and con's.
I like the low down torque increase and constant pull of an SC.
The turbo is the complete opposite, an asbo if you will that just throws everything at you in one go and is boystrous and arrogant? ha that's a weird description but hope you get where I'm coming from.

Come to think of it, anyone done a super charger and turbo combo on an s2k?

Sc guys dont take this the wrong way....I found that generally supercharging is a relativly cheap way of going forced induction.By cheap I mean less than £10k or even less than £5k.

If you check out most of the Turbo builds on here the cost is ridiculous. Saying that I mean if you run good power and you upgrade the other parts to cope with it.

Generally if you want sub 500 hp a Sc is fine, if you want over 500 then a turbo is the only option.

I think that going turbo you will need to be getting your parts from the States, especially if its a kit type setup you are after.Or go second hand.

As Steve said superchargers are more civilised with a nice linear power delivery, almost like a stock car on steroids. On the other hand Turbo's have more of a brutal power delivery.....mine has anyway.I have found the difference between the 2 like night and day.Although mine is only putting out just over 500 hp it is ferociously fast.

If you have the time and the know how why not get a roots style charger? It'll be a lot of work to make it work but it'd be a one off!
I've got a habit of going about things differently :/

With regards to a twin charged S2000 (supercharger and turbo on the same car) Suprasport in Holland (I think) have finished/nearly finished a twin charged S2000 comprising a Precision turbo and an Eaton blower on the same car!
