Its been like this since i bought it, but now ive got some time off i thought i'd try and sort it.
I've adjusted the boot catch so its ats its lowest point but its still raised on the right hand side a little

Any suggetions? i really dont know what to try! i think it may be causeing a little leak

Someone has tried to close it with a large amount of luggage in and bent it.
You need to do the old 'fridge door trick' and bend/twist it back, else pick up one from a breaker and get it sprayed.
I reckon the latter is probably the driest solution.

There does appear to be a kink starting the last third of the picture.
I would trap a lump of rubber on the other side (the good one) and gently push down on the raised side to bend it back.
