Ah right.
Currently I have no indication of my speed so I use my phone and a gps app for my speed.
The wire for the rpm display on the dash has been snipped and the output from the omex is now connected so I get to see my rpm on the dash but the Ecu has no f@#king idea what's going on.
Also not getting a read out for my coolant temp.
Thankfully the fuel level display works.

Essentially I've unplugged the engine, removed it.
And trimmed off anything that wasn't needed.
I kept the reverse switch wiring, coolant sensor(the one in the engine and not rad)
speed sensor (vss) and the alternator wiring (4 wires, used one)

The after market Ecu was plonked in and given a live, ignition live and earth, then the rest of the harness plugged onto engine(with some modifications but nothing that would affect speed/eps)

So essentially the Ecu is sat there like, I'm on, I'm de-immobilised, but what the shit is happening?

Sounds like you have a lot of wiring to do. It will probably be easier to get a after market dash with extra inputs and outputs then you might be able to foul the eps if the dash you get can output the correct signal. I know of a nearly new motec c125 with the input and output options and looms but you might not want to pay the price!!!

I spoke to him in January and he said he did fix it but how exactly he wasn't sure, it was to do with the wiring on his stock Ecu

That kit fits into the t56 gearbox and has a corrector so if I change ratios in the future all I have to do is flip a few switches

If you do go for an aftermarket dash (the one Matty is on about is close on £3000 I think, I would probably have had it but I'm spending too much as it is and I already have a new Motec dash to be fitted.) I've got a Race Technology dash that will be up for grabs when I have my Motec dash fitted, sometime in April I'm hoping.

Awkward???? Surely not, you could have been really awkward and kept the stock engine.
