So the cat is out the bag, I still have some secrets but I'd like to share the ones that the loose lips sank the ships on.
This is the engine I have a deposit on, I've been to see it in a car and running all I have to say is my god, just, my god.
Apologies for the poor Iphone quality pics, I'll be getting the 5S soonish so hopefully better quality pics.

The album below has a few more pictures and a couple of (very)short videos.

3" stainless, 4" tips, no cats, Cross over and a pair of back boxes you can stick your arm in!

Ooooooooo take plenty of pictures man.

If the F20 ever went pop in mine I'd be going for an LS engine.

The sale of my working(albeit high mileage) F20C and gearbox(to a guy fitting it in a mk1 escort) paid a good chunk of the cost of the Ls2.
It helped a lot and the swap may never have got started if I didn't sell it, If it went pop I'd have just bought a 2nd hand block I think.

Just found this, not a big fan of v8s in Jap cars, maybe a 2jz would have looked better

Although I take my hat off to you for doing it! I will be keeping an eye on this thread

At one point a 2jz was on the cards, but the price that I got the v8 for inc. the charger was just too good to miss!

Monaro, 05 or 06, I don't remember :')
The supercharger was aftermarket, worked out a deal with the seller to include the charger in the sale, along with the Monaro rear end and driveshafts.
