wanted to go down this route and relocate the filler cap for an even more tucked bay, but no room for intercooler then.

My design ideas for the cross member are up in my other thread if you want ot have a look!

Will do when I get in
Feels like I've got loads done this weekend, I'll put a couple of pics up in about an hour.

Just got to weld in the engine mounts and we're ready!
Oh, the engine needs to be delivered too .. That could help!

So, productive weekend was had.
Re-trimmed steering wheel fitted
(It's beautiful! Thank you Robin!!!)
Air con removed
Weird ass air pump, gone
Old subframe removed
Modded subframe fitted
Special tie rods fitted to accommodate new steering rack location
Steering column extension welded in
Anti roll bar cleaned up, repainted and installed .... Upside down
Anti roll bar relocation mounts fitted

And a few other tiny jobs that I fail to remember.

Just got to weld in the new engine mounting points, knock up a simple transmission mount relocator (2 bits of flat bar with a total of 3 holes)

Oh and organise when the engine can be delivered!!

I personally would not have touched a thing until I had the engine/trans in my possession for absolute reference. What are you going to do when Yodel deliver it to the local canal by accident??
Seriously, good luck with the build.

I cringe at the thought!!
Nah the guy I'm buying them from is delivering it too, What a gent!

Also the mounts are adjustable, so as long as I get them within 20mm each way (very very likely, as I know the position within 5mm each way taking reference from previous builds in America) I'll be fine
