Car goes to exhaust shop tomorrow for a pair of custom stainless manifolds because I know I wouldn't be able to do them justice.

Also decided that as a temporary measure I'll be cutting holes into my bonnet for the charger pulley and throttle valve and part of charger.

I will be on the look out for a cheap bonnet to put a bulge into, preferably Berlina but it'll be getting painted at some point so it wouldn't be the end of the world if not. Also condition doesn't bother me so much so long as it'll take a body shop minimal effort to get it looking good again.

Gonna have to be honest .. I needed to google "GMC 6-71" to know what you was on about haha
If I had a charger which had the 3 butterfly valve intake on top I'd definitely have it hanging out on show!
But the one I have isn't as impressive looking in comparison
Plus the rain and gypsum dust from my work are never a good combo, I'd be forever cleaning out my engine bay every weekend I'd rather be driving it!

A guy local to me did the same with a mk2. But it's s2000 chassis underneath. Insane car.

This however is awesome. We need more pics.

What wheels have you got on yours Carl? They remind me of Advan RG wheels, they look great!

Thanks! I have to admit, they're replicas, RGii dare or something, bought them because of looks and good price
They'll be getting a refurb to a flat/satin/matte gold colour just before the car gets onto the road.

This is the damage.

Also I've somehow acquired a dent in the back of the boot, probably from someone pushing it, it looks like it'll push out though.
Good job I'm getting a paint job!!

Oh dear - is there a shallower sump option?

I wouldn't fancy that on our roads.
