So frustrating not being able to work on the car :/
Time in the garage will be limited for the time being after a mix up led to my mate being locked out of his garage when he had MOTs waiting. His keys were posted through his letter box by another friend but between 3 of us we all managed to not text him. Oops.

A bit of grovelling later and all has been forgiven but I'm not going to push my luck by asking to borrow his keys, just got to work smart and fast when I have the time off and he's already at the garage.

Monday will be the next time I get to work on the car, plan is as follows:
Wake up around 12 after being on nights
Take a kfc bucket round to his work to sweeten him up to stop back a little after closing
Mount 3 relays on the fusebox bracket
Route and pull a few cables through bulkhead ready for my lecky to turn up once he's finished work
faff around with the air fuel ratio gauge and prep up ready for aftermarket audio switches
Let the lecky confirm (or correct if needed) what I've done
Let him crack on neatly joining it all up
Drop a message to my friend ally welding the sump
Actually connect the battery

I'll probably leave the dash in bits just incase I have to correct the rpm wire

Try make some sense of how I'm going to go from the 4 pin honda alternator plug to the 2 pin LS alternator
probably do this once we get the car running

Sump will most likely be done tuesday/wednesday and looks to be the only thing holding us back as I predict wiring to be complete barring the alternator

Need to make something to cover the charger pulley as technically it's illegal to have rotating parts sticking out of a car. Lame!
Also need to make my bonnet pins work! They dont quite line up now

Plenty to do, not much time. Days available to work on car before tuning:
Monday 21st
Tuesday
Wednesday
Thursday
Friday after 7pm if my mate stops back
Same with Saturday
Sunday day time
Monday 28th afternoon

Hopefully have all major jobs done by thursday and will just be left with tidying jobs.

You can change the tacho output on the Omex ecu. I did it by guess work on my Koso instruments but got it reading bang on in the end. Its in the instruction manual how to do it.

This is where we stand:
To start up all that's needed is the sump which should be done tomorrow! Chuck the oil in and press the red button!

Relays for fans and charger pump wired up and routed, need to lift the car to get to them to finish off, that'll be done when I chuck the sump on.

Rpm and shift light cables routed
Oil pressure sensor wired up, just needs the pressure gauge wiring.
Pressure gauge is sat on the dash close to O/s A pillar despite the fact I didn't want any gauges like that. It was the only place to put it.

Going to try get a honda oil pressure sensor and screw it into one of the ports of the Ls sump and wire that up too so it'll take off the oil dash light.

Drive shaft cups need swapping over and engine coolant system needs pressure checking.

Cleaned up the bay a tiny bit too.

If I get the sump back tomorrow expect a start up video!
Ecu only has a start up map though so there won't be any revving until Tuesday 29th.
