Bourbon's S6000
The stupid thing is the Ls2 is supposed to be DBW but in my infinite genius I've decided to try and convert it.
Had a second thought, the Ls1 guys appear to use the standard ls1 intake and hence cam, I may be able to get my hands on said cam as I know some one who has an ls1 and is converting it to run on carbs. Watch this space ...

Also an update on the wiring, been in touch with a guy who is hopefully viewing the car tomorrow to give me a quote on the work. Turns out he is the guy that my first electrician uses when he is over booked! Small world!
Using my workshop manual on CD I've printed off loads of diagrams, lists and schematics which I've been through and highlighted the main parts which need attention, should help him quite a bit.
I also have the Import muscle's first generation swap manual, although quite a lot of it is irrelevant due to having a standalone management and harness to suit as well as the car being RHD so there could be some discrepancies in the info.
We'll see, fingers crossed, deadline is looming! Hopefully getting the last few mechanical bits sorted on saturday. Custom sump is going to have to wait, I want to put a new flange on it as the first one has warpped a little too much for my liking and I doubt a cork gasket would fill in the gaps.
Any one have aero catches on their S? Dreading fitting mine.

For a giggle I checked out the price of aluminium on ebay in the form of blocks and flat bar.
I cannot believe the price! So cheap! Makes you wonder how inline pro can charge so much for their kit which is essentially a couple of blocks and a bar of ally with some holes in!
I was going to replicate the kit using scrap mild steel that I can get fairly cheap and just paint it. However I think I'll go whole hog and use aluminium and then get it anodised to prevent corrosion, probably in gold ....
