My friend has just brought a pontiac transam firebird with a 5.7 litre v8 in it. Bloody hell the thing sounds insane so god knows yours is going to be like!

Pretty much the same but louder (virtually no silencing) and a supercharge whine over it.
The whine is more of a waaah then a wheeeee

Can you not angle the intake pipe down a bit as soon as it comes from the throttle body? Seems like that'll reduce the size of the bonnet bulge a lot


Edit, looks like the belt is in the way

Sounds like a challenge!

It's not going to need much of a bulge over that, should look quite neat - I bet an MX-5 one isn't far off big enough, just not quite enough depth?
