Having a couple of technical issues, fans don't seem to be kicking in, despite having a temp sensor from the S2 block screwed into the v8 and plugged in the honda harness I'm not getting a temp read out on the dash, it says low but I know it's pretty warm, I can barely touch the rad it's that hot.
The modified pressure cap doesn't seem to have worked.

If push comes to shove get independent temp sensor and fan switch.Ive got a Kenlow fan system that has its own thermostat/temp sensor that fits into the rad fins.Ive got an independent temp sensor also but that is connected to my retech dash.

Think I got to the root of the problem, air lock in the coolant, jacked front end up and loads of bubbles came out, warms up quite quickly but when up to around 85-88 it steadies out, got it to 93 still no fans, looking at the map4000 program I think they're set for 100 but the whole car died. Lost the ignition live that we'd used for a bunch of relays, burnt out the 7.5 fuse. As a temporary fix I've chucked in a 15A but when I have time I'll get another relay and use that singular one to then kick the rest of them in and I'll reduce the fuse size back to 7.5A.

My friend with the laptop had to leave so we still haven't got round to getting fans to kick in, that's tomorrow's job.
Switch back to standard rad cap rather than the skunk2 one and no leaks since, though I think it was because it wasn't bled properly.

I ought to get an independent temp sensor for coolant and another for oil pressure. It's on my list of things to do.

Probably going to remove one of the two springs on the throttle body as it is very stiff and it's hard not to rev up to 2K when trying to put on a little bit of revs.

Had a nap before my night shift and whilst asleep I seem to have figured how I want to go about the throttle.
Currently have a modified ek9 cam which is very round, not progressive at all. But the size of it means I can get WOT and it be quite stiff. If I was to get another cam or replicate it and offset the pivot point lower then it would pretty much make it a progressive action which would increase driveability. It’d be stiffer nearer WOT but easier to regulate the lower down revs which is ideally what I'm after.

Had a quick chat with Luke from tegiwa regarding the speedo and eps, the sensor for the speedo has to be very close to the pickup wheel, like VERY close. I thought it was close enough but I can probably get it closer so I'll be giving that a shot tomorrow and when that's sorted the EPS will return as well as it's reliant on the VSS. Unless I've chopped a vital part of the Honda loom out.
