Default Bracket help

So, here's my current problem...

There is a vacuum solenoid on the stock airbox (happens to be an '07) that is held on by a two piece bracket. One piece is attached by a screw to the solenoid and one piece is attached to the stock airbox (at the back edge on towards the right hand side). The screw that attached the bracket to the airbox is seized and is not interested in coming out.

I need a replacement bracket and screw (long story). Anyone have a spare or know a Honda part number? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Ta.

You could try contacting a breaker or PM GarageR, who is a member on here

Spoke to Garage R, they've nothing in at the moment. Any recommendation for breakers? I've not had a lot of luck any in the past.

Both that screw and the MAP bolts can be rounded off quite easily - they really do seem to get stuck.

I would ring around for a local breaker - I don't think I will ever use one online again.

There is a link in my post in the FAQ to a parts look up site, there are others in the US if you want to search.
FAQ
Or go straight to here:
Honda parts look-up
You need to enter a ZIP code for a dealer - use 117110 and choose one.

You can get exploded drawings like this to identify the part:
Brackets

When they list bolts in the info they give you the size which you can use to order replacements.

I have replaced a lot of bolts with stainless bought from here:
Stagonset

Hope this is of some help

Thanks Shopman. No so concerned about the bolt, it's easy enough to source replacement stainless as I use them all the time in chopper building, it's the damn bracket that is a pain...

more specifically, it is the Air COntrol Solenoid Valve bracket that I need to replace part of. It is a two piece bracket, one piece screws to the valv e and the other screws to the air box. I need to replace the bit that screws to the airbox and the screw and the Honda parts lookup that I was refered to does not recognize the part.

A few of us have suggested a breaker - why not go down that route?

I decided to just drill out the center of the stuck screw and use a screw extractor. It's a 5x10 which is common as muck to replace.

I don't know of any reputable breakers around Birmingham and didn't feel like starting to just call around blindly.
