Brake caliper refurb project

Is that each.
I've found this on ebay for the fronts, not sure if I would risk non OEM for stuff like this though, although I imagine it is exactly the same stuff. I can't imagine there would be much worth in replica parts like these. Probably is identical.

They do rubbers for the rears aswell but I can't find pistons on there

That was the cost of one piston
Rear pistons are pressed and therefore difficult to copy. Bigg Red were working on getting some made up when I had my calipers refurbished by them last year but no idea if they ever managed it.

You can get aftermarket pistons I think
It's not a Honda caliper so I wouldn't stress. Nissin is the brand for both F&Ri believe

As far as I known the rebuild kits don't have pistons included, in fact I don't know anywhere that sells them.
I ended up buying one from Si for around £46 IIRC.

Well I'll give the ebay kit a go. I can't imagine the refurb places use OEM parts looking at the prices so they will be fine. Rear seals etc can be got for reasonable money so it's just the rear pistons to source now.
Any ideas on what I need to mask before sand blasting them. And will sand blasting mar the polished surfaces?

For the cost of new pistons replace them both. If you don't it won't take long for a little moisture to creep in under the dust seal and make it corrode where you have rubbed it down. If you are going to do these as replacements you may as well spend the extra money and do it right, that way you know that they won't be coming off in January when the salt has f@#ked them.
Front pistons are cheap, replace them.
