That's just bad...

Secure Carpark indeed, I would have more than a few words to say to the owners.

Often.

Sorry to hear the bad news Andy. I hope it all gets fixed OK. I had a windscreen smashed in an NCP and the security guard wasnt interested.

I have started leaving the flap down on my stereo even when on my drive. Hopefully "they" will see the Honda stock head unit and not bother.

Were your CDs on display or in the secret compartment?

Bad news on the break in Always really frustrating.

I had the same problem a few years ago with my wife's Nova. Some sapless youth decided he wanted some of it for his mate's Nova.

One night he smashed the rear driver's side window and stole the speakers (worth about

I first thought that the title of this thread ("break in") was another new engine question!

Bearing in mind you had the car in "secure" parking, may you have some recourse from the owners of the car park? I know that there is probably a disclaimer, but if they advertise as secure and they are no different to any other car park you may have a claim.

At the very least you may be able to make sure that they have to remove the word "secure" from their adverts so that others are informed because of your incident.

BTW if you have protected NCB it might be worth making a claim .....

Best of luck.

these posts are sad tribute to the general downturn in UK culture - where parents don't care what their kids get upto and the police don't back up the victims.

- I didn't mind giving up my house in Milnrow(NWest) after two such incidents on my drive whilst I slept in the house....

though at least they are not yet knocking on the door with guns,

our friends in a very nice Brussels suburb had just taken delivery of a brand new Merc - only to be woken in the early hours with a gun toting guy demanding the keys - despite having a big dog/alarm - he fired the gun in the house -l uckily missed our friends and he got away with the car. They packed up and left the country.

Sorry to hear about your break-in. I had a very, very similar incident while parked in the 'premium' car park at my local station - Bedford. My passenger window was smashed in and the windscreen surround bent. About

guys thanks for your sympathy

CDs and geodesy were in the console compartment - i did't lock it but they'd probably
just have forced it anyway and damaged it in the process

seems that s2000 glass is quite rare - autoglass have had to order one in
from honda

should be fixed tomorrow.
