Default Bridgestone RE05A MZ getting very rare

HI Guys. I am trying to keep my baby as stock, and need a pair of rear tyres pretty soon. I am really struggling to find these tyres, am I alone and is there anyone out there who knows where I can get them from? Already tried Black Circles, Event Tyres and a few others.
Thanks E

The RE050A's have been superseeded by the RE002's - I got a full set of these and am very happy so far.

Do you mean the RE050A which I believe was the OEM tyre of choice? Have you tried Camskill?

Is it specifically the MZ you're looking for?

The RE002 is a cracking tyre as an alternative though!

The RE050A is (I think) the Porsche or Merc tyre and Beemer Z4.
The only "OEM tyre of choice" Is the RE050MZ the MZ defining the much stiffer side wall that the S needs to keep it out of ditches. That is if we are talking 17 inch.

I've looked and can't find any, they do seem to come and go, bit of a bugger if the OP needs them now, for alternatives look through the tyre thread, and the forum favourites thread.
I had a pair of A's on the back of mine for a while due to poor supply, pumped up to 34psi, they were OK but the MZ's are a totally different league, much better grip on bends.

Just checked OP has a facelift so defiantly 17 inch wheels.

Event Mobile seem (so far) to have managed to track them down.

There have always had gluts and shortages of these rare tyres.

A lot of misinformation in this thread.

The RE050a were the replacement for the S02 on the 16" wheels. An alternative to these is the RE002.

For 17" wheels, the OEM tyre was the RE050 (MZ). This tyre has been discontinued as noted in "Forum Favourites", details here:

FWIW I recently fitted a set of Michelin PS4 17" tyres, and they are very good indeed,

Pilot sport 4 here too, waiting to go on the car after much confusion with various tyre suppliers over the REO 50 MZ.
As I have stated in a previous post Bridgestone have wrongly listed the MZ 17" tyre as available in Europe but if you order, the tyres you will receive are the REO 50A. (I had 2 sets delivered direct from the Netherlands via a U.K. supplier and then had to be collected)

MZs rare !!!!! easier to find hen's teeth or hobby horse's shite, might have to try something else soon, saying that the annual mileage we do they might last longer than I expect.

I run re050a all round on 17" v1 wheels and I quite like them no issues at all with the sidewall.
