Default Broken gear knob

We were talking and laughing at the Herts meet last night about gear knobs and gear sticks coming off when we were driving, and when I changed gear this morning my lovely yellow acrylic (with the big beetle in it) came off in my hand!!! The plastic has broken leaving part of it still attached to the stick. I am SO disappointed - I will have to take the pliers to remove the broken part and then put the old gear knob back on.

Is that big biceps from lifting large bags of oats and big bottles of whiskey?
