Can anyone help a fellow S owner? will pay
Hi all
Please see my other post, but basically need to swap my coil packs with someone else, to help me identify which one i need to buy as I have a missfire. I can drive to come and meet you, I'm in Norfolk now. Can anyone help?

This is all assuming that it is the coil pack causing the misfire.
It could be a few other things -
plugs
tappets
injectors
Definitely worth swapping some from a known good runner if only to eliminate one of the options.
Good luck.

Don't pull coil pack when running engine, you can damage the coil if it's charge is not dissipated to earth
You can buy 4 cheap spark indicators and fit them between spark plug and coil pack, they flash when the coil fires, it's not perfect but you could see if one behaves different and for around £4 each it's not going to break the bank
If you must pull a lead shove an old plug on the end and make sure it's earthed
