Default Cant stop leaking boot

My first post here.

Had my S for 3weeks now and love it. But found an inch of water in the bottom of the boot and i can hear sloshing at the rear on the left hand side. Jacked the car up today and poked around in the drain hole with an old coat hanger to try and clear any muck that was up there but it still hasnt got rid of the sloshing and water is still getting in the boot. So what now? And how the hell does it get in the boot anyway!
Cheers.

get in the boot with a torch, close the boot, get someone to wash the car while you look for leaks

A helpful post would be nice! It only leaks when i drive. On the lefthand side. Its as if the water is rolling back from somewhere by the fuel pipe in the boot.

You in St.Asaph Ste? Im in rhyl.

I had a similar problem, it was caused by one of the rivets that holds the soft top on that had been compressed. While water can travel all over the car I would look at the soft top first.

Surely if that was the case it would leak whenever it rained. I have the same problem and it's only when I drive in the wet, so it must be pooling somewhere

The fact that i can hear it sloshing about obviously means the drain channel is still blocked even though i poked around up there to try and clear it out. I put the roof down before to see if there was anyway to clear the channel from above but i cant see where it is. Anyone know if you can get to it from above?
